If there's one thing you can rely on 90s comics for, it's attractive people in revealing spandex. This week, we're checking out Uncanny X-Men 320 (look no further than the cover image of Storm) and The Mighty Bombshells from Antarctic Press (look no further than the comic's name).

Nearly 20 years after Spellbound, Marvel put out another miniseries featuring new magical heroes: Spellbinders. Like Spellbound, it never really caught on with readers. Unlike Spellobund, Mike and Jessika really enjoyed this story and wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

It's time for another couple of Dollar Bin Discoveries! Today, the topic is "Obscure Fantasy." Jessika picked up Earthlore: Reign of the Dragon Lord, while Mike snagged Krey!

Today we're exploring DC's 1979 comic World of Krypton, which has the distinction of being the first comic book miniseries. But it's an extra special tour because the book's author, Paul Kupperberg, is our tour guide! Come for the sci-fi zaniness, stay for Paul's stories about DC in the 70s and 80s.

It's time to celebrate milestones with bigtime superheroes! In New Titans 100 we get mullets, body hair, and a wedding! In King in Black: Black Panther, we (possibly) get a funeral!

Thursday Mar 23, 2023

We're celebrating our second anniversary today! Hard to believe the show's come as far as it has in the last two years! We definitely wouldn't be here without the support of everyone we've met along the way, so we created a special episode that included a bunch of our friends.

Thursday Mar 16, 2023

We're traveling back to the Bronze Age for today's Dollar Bin Discoveries, as we're chatting with celebrated Bronze Age creator Paul Kupperberg! Not only do we talk about some wild comics from decades past, but we get to hear about what it was like working at DC comics in that era.

Thursday Mar 09, 2023

This week we're journeying to Earth-148611 (AKA Marvel's New Universe), taking a look at Psi-Force (AKA the teen superhero mash-up of New Mutants and Captain Planet), and talking about the comic with the man who wrote the majority of the series (AKA Fabian Nicieza). Get ready for an insider scoop on the New Universe, Marvel in the 1980s, and a lot of fun Jessika cackles!
